About the role
Magpie Nest Group is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, reputable UK property management company. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Basundhara, Dhaka office. You will handle day-to-day accounts, finance, and administration tasks in support of a UK property portfolio — working closely with the UK team during aligned hours. 50% of your work will be directly for our UK client.
No formal qualifications are required. We value practical knowledge, sharp accuracy, and confident computer skills above certificates.
Key responsibilities
- Process service charge accounts, rent statements, and tenant/owner invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconcile payments, bank transactions, and expense records in line with UK standards.
- Update property management software, spreadsheets, and databases — keeping everything clean and auditable.
- Track rent arrears, send payment reminders, and log all financial communications promptly.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial reports and budget tracking.
- Handle emails, letters, and data entry for properties and tenancies.
- Maintain organised digital records in compliance with UK data and document standards.
- Support the wider team with general administration and operational tasks as needed.
What we are looking for
- Accounting knowledge — you understand invoices, payments, reconciliation, and basic bookkeeping. Practical experience is valued far more than certificates.
- Strong IT skills — confident with Microsoft Excel, Word, email, and cloud-based systems; quick to learn new software and property management tools.
- High accuracy and attention to detail — errors in finance work are simply not acceptable; you take pride in getting things right the first time.
- Good written and spoken English — clear, professional communication with the UK team and clients is essential.
- Self-disciplined and reliable — able to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow a schedule aligned with UK working hours (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Mon–Fri).
- Stable setup — reliable internet connection with power backup is essential for this role.
Experience in property management or accounts is a significant advantage — but formal qualifications are not required.
What we offer
- Stable, long-term employment with a reputable UK company
- Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus
- Full training on our systems, software, and UK processes
- Clear growth path and promotion opportunities
- Friendly, collaborative, and supportive team environment
- Based at our professional Basundhara, Dhaka office
